Release 22.12, available December 17, 2022
•Org Activity Search Update
•The search in Vue Analytics will now show results for managers and users for whom additional access has been granted by the Vue Admin. This enables managers to search not only for their direct and indirect reports but also for workers that are visible to the manager.
•Various bug fixes
Release 22.11, available November 19, 2022
•Search for Window Title or URL in My Activity Details
•A search box has been provided on the details page of My Activity. This provides the capability to search for specific file names, URLs or meeting names
•The normal view can be obtained again by using the reset button or clearing all filters
•Various bug fixes
Release 22.10, available October 29, 2022
•Idle Timeout in Sapience Vue
•A new timeout capability has been added to Vue based on user activity. Previously, Vue enforced a timeout period for the session that was based on time. I.e. - timeout after 2 hours following a login. With this new idle timeout capability, the user's Vue session will now timeout when the user has been idle for 15 minutes without any activity in Vue.
•Filter detailed data in My Activity
•The detailed data in My Activity allows the capability to sort by column header. The capability to now filter that data by Application Name, Type and Category allows a Vue user to quickly find the information. Filters can be applied or reset independently to these columns. A link to 'Clear All Filters' will also be displayed to allow the user to reset all filters.
•Data Visibility to Others
•Vue Admins are now able to control the scope of data visible to users in Vue.
•If access to other teams or individuals has been granted by a Vue Admin, these additional teams and users will now be visible in the worker cards shown in Org Activity.
•Vue reports will also have the capability to show data for these additional teams and workers. By default, there are no changes in visibility from today. However, if additional data visibility has been granted a new report filter is available so that the user can choose whether to view data for their own organization, the additional teams and users, or both. This filter can be added to any existing or new reports by the Vue report writer or your Sapience Customer Success representative.
•Microsoft Office365 Meetings Integration - whitelisting using active Vue users
•An Office365 group will no longer be necessary to be maintained in order to retrieve data for those users. Instead, Vue will only retrieve O365 calendar data for the specific set of users that are defined in Vue as active workers. This change will simplify administration and no longer require a separate set of users to be maintained in Office365.
•Starting with the Office365 Meeting integration, this same capability will also be added to other integrations in the future.
•Minor improvements and enhancements
•The Vue application now properly detects the zoom level of the browser and will no longer display an advisory message that the browser is not set to the recommended size for optimal view.
•Other various bug fixes
Release 22.09, available September 23, 2022
•New icons for worker cards in Org Activity
•Icons on worker cards in Org Activity have been enhanced to make them more clear for all users.
•The indication of the icons for data sync time or activity enabled/disabled status stays the same. The old icons have been improved from an accessibility perspective.
•Unique URL for each report
•Every report will now have a unique URL containing the report ID and name. This change will allow our customers to understand which reports are utilized the most within their organization.
•There is no change in the report contents, and any URL mappings that have been defined by the Vue Admin will not be affected by this unique report URL.
•An example of this new report URL is: http://app.sapienceanalytics.com/reports/my_reports/dashboard/5f47c81ddf79c119c0f37af8/Workday%2520Efficiency%2520Statistics
•Minor improvements and enhancements
Release 22.08, available August 27, 2022
•Re-size and Re-Position Dashboard Tiles
•Resizing is particularly helpful for tiles which contain a large widget that is pinned from a Report or from Org Activity. To re-size a tile, hover over it, click on the re-size icon on the bottom right of the tile and increase or decrease the size.
•To re-position a tile, hover over it, click on the icon on the top which says "Drag & Drop this tile" and position it to the desired location. A drop target will be shown when the tile is being dragged which will help to preview the new position of the tile.
•Other changes to dashboard tiles
•The new icon on the top right of every tile is for unpinning the tile from the Dashboard. This icon has replaced the 3 ellipses menu that was used previously.
•The re-size, re-position, and unpin icons will be seen only when you hover the mouse over a tile. Otherwise, they will be hidden.
•More data in Sapience BI hourly data source
The hourly data source in Sapience BI will now contain data for the past 45 days instead of 30 days. This will give better capability to generate detailed reports monthly using the data in the hourly data source.
•Minor UI enhancements
•The "Profile" icon has been moved from the main menu on the left to the user menu on the top right
•Minor improvements and enhancements
Release 22.07, available July 30, 2022
•The user interface on the My Activity details page has been improved to group together activities within the same application. If the same application is used to perform various tasks, all of those activities will be grouped and highlighted together to make them visually stand out from other details shown on the screen. These groupings are expandable/collapsible, with the icon to expand or collapse located to the right of the application name. For example:
•Icons have been added to the user menu in the top right corner of Vue. This is a minor improvement to allow quick visualization of the existing menu options. It makes finding the desired menu option easier in the future when the number of menu items increases.
•Minor improvements and enhancements
Release 22.06 dated 10th July 2022
•Create and Manage Dashboards.
Managers can now create and maintain multiple Dashboards in Sapience Vue.
Go to Sapience Vue > Analytics > Dashboard and click Manage Dashboards. Create up to 10 dashboards at a time.
In Manage Dashboards:
•Click to create a new dashboard.
•Click to edit existing dashboard details.
Note:
•A Dashboard once deleted cannot be recovered.
•To pin an analytics as a tile, managers can choose from the available Dashboards or create a new one.
•Slowly changing historical dimensions.
•Slowly Changing Dimension uses historic data at that moment in time.
For example: Consider the hierarchy ‘Emp1 -> Mgr1 -> Mgr2’ as on Feb 11, 2020.
On Feb 12, the hierarchy changes to ‘Emp1 -> Mgr2’ and ‘Mgr1 ->Mgr2’, i.e., both Emp1 and Mgr1 report to Mgr2.
In this situation:
•Mgr2's overall trends will not impact for that month.
•Mgr1 will not see the emp1 trend after Feb 12. The change will show by day to day for example if the Manager for an employee gets updated mid-day of the day before, that change will show on the next day.
•Table for Historically changing dimensions in Daily and Hourly cubes:
•Fact Daily User
•Dim_TeamID
•Dim_TeamManagerID
•Dim_TeamManagerJobFamilyProfileID
•Dim_DepartmentID
•Dim_DepartmentManagerID
•Dim_LocationID
•Dim_JobFamilyProfileID
•Dim_VendorID
•IsFTE
•IsWorkDay
•IsActivityCollectionOn
•DailyTarget
•Report-related updates:
•Added Data Visibility filter.
Managers with Vue Activity Data Access (i.e., when this setting is ON) and have team/worker assigned in the following sections, will be able to view the data for the same in Sapience Reports and Sapience BI:
•I can view this manager's organization and activity data
•I can view this individual team member's activity data
•To view Meeting-related data for more than 30 days, Sapience has included meeting-related fields in BI's Daily cube.
•Minor internal improvements and enhancements.
Release 22.05 dated 7th May 2022
•Minor internal improvements and enhancements.
Release 22.04 dated 3rd April 2022
•Meeting-related updates:
•For a time slot, if there is a conflict between Scheduled meeting and MS Teams call, then the MS Teams data gets precedence over Scheduled Meeting (as MS Teams data is factual and confirms availability of the worker).
•If a worker attends a meeting using MS Teams, then that meeting is considered as a GROUP call and not a meeting.
For more details, refer Meeting Capture - Functionality and Rules in Sapience Vue technote.
•Unaccounted Time slot related updates:
•Workers will be able to update unaccounted time slots only if the Allow Users to edit Unaccounted Time option is enabled in Admin > Settings > Data Privacy > Data Capture.
•Report-related updates:
•Introducing a new cube having Cascading daily data for drill down feature in Reports. This feature is available for Managers only.
In the cascading daily cube data, a Manager is able to view data for direct and indirect reporting managers and their teams, i.e. rolled up data for reporting hierarchy.
Hence, in reports having widgets with Cascading Daily data fields, Managers can view rolled up data for their reporting hierarchy. To implement a Widget’s Drill down feature in Custom Report, ensure that the report includes filter for ManagerOrg table > FullName column with Default value as INCLUDE ALL.
FYI: In the current daily cube data, a Manager is not able to view data for indirect reporting managers and their teams. In reports having widgets with Daily data fields, Managers can view only reporting Manager-related data and not their team-related data.
•Report for Data Visibility settings as Department Level:
•In a report, data is best filtered using filters from the Filter pane. Hence, drill down option for a widget is disabled from this release onwards.
•Minor internal improvements and enhancements.
Release 22.03 dated 5th March 2022
•Report-related updates:
•In Tickets Dashboard report, added Ticket Type filter.
This filter allows you to select the elements that you would like to view as Tickets and is dependent on the Data Source filter.
Example: For Data Source as Azure DevOps integration, in the Ticket Type filter select Work Items (like Bugs, Incident, etc.) that you want to consider as Tickets.
•Sapience Lens-related updates:

•Sapience Lens for MAC: 1.4.2.74.02 or above
•Sapience Lens for Windows: 1.4.3.74.00 or above
•Known behavior:
•Sapience Lens retrieves network details every 30 minutes from the local machine. Hence, if there is a network change, then this update is expected to reflect during the next sync with Sapience Vue.
•Minor internal improvements and enhancements:
•Fixed the issue where the data was displayed for 'Last Week' irrespective of the date range selected during pinning of a report widget.

•Reports for Data Visibility settings as Department Level:
•Group by option. Allows flexibility to manage data visibility based on daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly basis. View data for the selected Date Range based on the Group by option selected. For example:
•If the Date Range is selected as Last Month, Group by option displays Daily, Weekly and Monthly.
•If the Date Range is selected as Last Week, Group by option displays Daily and Weekly.
•In Tickets Dashboard Report, introducing a new Data Source called Azure DevOps.
This report has integration data, hence details are visible only if an organization has enabled Sapience Vue integration with Azure DevOps.
•Clubbed view for Applications Name appearing in time sequence.
•Click to view the clubbed time summary and hide the details.
In My Activity day-wise detailed view, the Application Name is clubbed together along with the time details if the same is used for different App/URLs.
For example: Zoom Meeting was used from 9.33am to 9.47am. As the worker attended 2 different meetings during this time slot, their window title names are different. Hence, Zoom Meeting details are clubbed and their cumulative time is displayed.
